I'm trying to clean up all the horizontal surfaces now that school is over and one thing that was easy to finish up was this lap blanket made from an entire ball of James C. Brett chunky yarn. I bought it online and thought the colour was interesting...not so much in real life. So it's been washed and dried and will go towards a group that makes hats and blankets for low-income and needy folks.
I can't remember how I did this--I want to say I knit seven rows, skipped a row and repeated...but I honestly can't remember!

Date: 2022-05-01 09:50 pm (UTC)It's great to know that your creation is going to help people! I've started making scarves and hats in my spare time so I can give them to organizations that help people in need. I donated several to someone who was collecting supplies for Ukrainian refugees; I look forward to making more. Always great to meet a fellow loom knitter!
