New in my craft room--the Zoom Loom!

Hi group, I have been mostly working on cleaning up my house after my final semester at art college, so I haven't been doing too much in the way of new stuff. But, I can't resist new craft things and bought a Zoom Loom by Schact Spindle. It is made in the USA and is a pin loom. Pin looms let you make tiny projects and they are just kind of fun. So far I have made a few samples with different yarns.

Hee! How did you read my mind? I tried making a square out of my Marth Stewart knitting loom kit because that can be used for weaving too :-D

This pin loom makes a 4x4 square, so everyone's getting coasters for Christmas :-D

Double layer them with a piece of batting or felt between. Chainstitch the edges for a finished look.

Turtle Looms makes varying sizes and shapes, out of wood, that are quite lovely too. Wunderwag makes all the way down to 1" sizes and up to 6" so far, out of clear acrylic (so much easier to read). Blue Butterfly also makes wood looms that are gorgeous, up to 12" in size.
