Knit or Crochet a Temperature Blanket

I thought this was a neat idea - create a blanket based on the temperature for a random effect.

My mother made one a few years ago. There are different ways to size it, I learned - not sure what this one recommended, as I don't knit so trying to read the directions would make no sense. She also found it helpful to write down temperatures because she didn't always have time to knit a row. She may actually have done two, with the high and the low temps.

Oh cool! I didn't know that they were a thing until recently. I don't need to buy any new yarn so might hold off a bit :-D
