A new career for Spare Pepper

Spare Pepper is a none-too-bright looking plush rendition of our cat Pepper. I made him out of a fake fur jacket when my partner was in hospital; there was a distinct lack of cats in that place. Ever since he came home, Spare Pepper has been sitting around looking plump and fuzzy and not doing a whole lot else, in a stark contrast with real Pepper, who does all kind of things including catching mice, making funny sounds and getting in the way.
I figured it might be time for Spare Pepper to embark on a new career. And I had a bag of leftover fish tank pebbles, and a piece of cotton from a pair of trousers that has been made into shorts. So now Spare Pepper is a doorstop. And a pretty good one he is.

As you can see, he's giving it his all. That door is not going to budge an inch as long as he's there.
