30for31craftingMarch2019 - Day 2
Mar. 2nd, 2019 07:56 pmToday, I spent more than 30 minutes, and most of it was kind of frustrating. But now, I am feeling some accomplishment.
First, I attempted to reattached an embellishment (as they are called in the biz, apparently). It was stupidly difficult, and I'm hoping it stays on after drying. If not, Plan B!

Then, I went to restring the necklace. Of course, I didn't have the findings I really needed, so I'm having to reuse the existing findings, and I hope that they don't break. It also became apparent that this is very sentimental to its owner, and that it lost a lot of beads in the breaking. So, I had to do a design rework, which is sometimes problematic on a sentimental piece. AND as I was nearing the end of the restringing, I noticed that I didn't have the same amount of beads on the side I was finishing, and had to take the finding off the other side to even up the symmetry. But it's all strung now. I'll put on the findings tomorrow when I have more light.
