I've made a thing

Hello one and all! It's been years since I've been here, but I made a thing and need to show off, and that's harder to do in person these days. So here it is:
I made myself a pair of spatterdashes. You may prefer the term 'gaiters', but 'spatterdashes' is just such a nice word to say! I use the long form, instead of 'spats', because... well, they're long. They sit just below the knee.
I made them from a torn pair of jeans and they're lined with purple fleece. Toasty, I can tell you that. I'm pleased as punch with how they turned out.
